Amlodilan® contains the active substance amlodipine, which belongs to the group of medicines known as calcium antagonists.
Amlodilan® is prescribed to adults and hypertensive children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 years.
Amlodilan® is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) or to treat a certain type of chest pain called angina pectoris or, in a rare form, vasospastic (Prinzmetal’s) angina.
