Hypercholesterolaemia

The use of Atorvalan® is indicated in addition to diet to lower elevated levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, apolipoprotein B and triglycerides in adults, adolescents and children aged ten years and older with primary hypercholesterolaemia, including familial hypercholesterolaemia (heterozygous variant) or combined (mixed) hyperlipidaemia (corresponding to type II a and II b according to Fredrickson), when diet and other non-pharmacological measures do not provide sufficient effect.
