Candeblo^® Amlo plus HCT

Candeblo^® Amlo plus HCT is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adult patients. It contains three active substances: Candesartan cilexetil, amlodipine besylate and hydrochlorothiazide. These work together to reduce blood pressure.

• Candesartan cilexetil belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by relaxing and expanding the blood vessels. This helps to lower blood pressure.
• Amlodipine belongs to a group of medicines called calcium antagonists and also works by relaxing blood vessels so the blood can flow through them more easily.
• Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to a group of medicines called diuretics (water pills). It helps the body excrete water and salts such as sodium in the urine. This helps to lower blood pressure.

The effects of these substances help to lower blood pressure.

Candeblo^® Amlo plus HCT can be used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adult patients whose blood pressure is already controlled using the combination of the individual components as separate tablets in the same dosage as Candeblo^® Amlo plus HCT.
