Candeblo^® plus HCT

Candeblo^® plus HCT is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adult patients. It contains two active substances, candesartan cilexetil and hydrochlorothiazide, which work together to reduce blood pressure.

• Candesartan cilexetil belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by relaxing and expanding your blood vessels which helps to lower your blood pressure.
• Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to a group of medicines called diuretics (dehydration pills). It helps the body eliminate water and salts such as sodium in the urine which helps to lower your blood pressure.

Your doctor may prescribe Candeblo^® plus HCT if your blood pressure cannot be properly controlled by candesartan cilexetil or hydrochlorothiazide alone.
