Candeblo^®

Candeblo^® contains the active substance candesartan cilexetil.

Candeblo^® belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by relaxing and dilating the blood vessels. This lowers blood pressure and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood to all parts of the body.

Candeblo^® is used to treat high blood pressure in adult patients and in children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years.

Candeblo^® is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with heart failure and impaired left ventricular systolic function (left ventricular ejection fraction ≤ 40%) in addition to treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or when ACE inhibitors are not tolerated.
