Epilan®-D contains the active substance phenytoin.
Phenytoin has an anticonvulsant effect and is well effective in many forms of seizure disorder (epilepsy).
Epilan®-D is used to treat seizure disorders such as generalised tonic-clonic (grand mal) and focal seizures (Jackson) as well as psychomotor seizures (temporal lobe seizures).
