Application areas:

Gerovit^® D₃ is an oily liquid that contains the active substance cholecalciferol (Vitamin D₃). Vitamin D is found in food and is also formed in the skin after exposure to sunlight. It is essential for bone formation and normal bone metabolism.

Gerovit^® D₃ is used

• in adults, adolescents and children of any ages:
  • to prevent a Vitamin D deficiency for identifiable risk (including prophylaxis of rickets)
  • to treat a Vitamin D deficiency
• in adults:
  • as a supplement
  • supplement to treat bone loss (osteoporosis) when there is a risk of Vitamin D deficiency
