Irbepress® contains the active substance irbesartan.
Irbepress® belongs to a class of medicines known as angiotensin II receptor antagonists.
Irbesartan is used to treat essential hypertension.
It is also indicated for the treatment of kidney disease in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus as part of antihypertensive treatment.
