Lannapril^® plus/plus forte

Lannapril^® plus and Lanapril^® plus forte is a combination of two active substances, ramipril and hydrochlorothiazide.  

Ramipril belongs to the class of active substances known as ACE inhibitors (ACE = angiotensin converting enzyme). Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to the class of active substances known as thiazide diuretics or dehydration tablets.

Lannapril^® plus/Lannapril^® plus forte is given to adults for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).

The two active substances complement each other in lowering blood pressure. The use of the fixed combination is indicated for patients whose blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled with ramipril or hydrochlorothiazide monotherapy.
