Lanrektan^®

Lanrektan^® contains the active substance tadalafil and belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors (PDE-5 inhibitors). 

Lanrektan^® 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg is used to treat adult men with erectile dysfunction. This is when a man cannot get or maintain a hard, erect penis for sexual activity. Tadalafil showed a significant improvement in terms of getting a hard, erect penis for sexual activity.

It is important to note that Lanrektan^® does not work without sexual stimulation. Partnered foreplay may be necessary, just as if you had not taken a medicine for erectile dysfunction.

Lanrektan^® 5 mg is also used to treat adult men with urinary problems associated with a common condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia. This is where the prostate gland gets bigger with age. Signs include difficulty urinating, a feeling of not having a completely empty bladder and a more frequent need to go to the toilet even at night. Lanrektan^® improves blood flow and relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder, which can reduce the discomfort of benign prostate enlargement. These symptoms have been shown to improve as early as 1 to 2 weeks after starting treatment with tadalafil.
