Therapeutic indications
Metagelan® is an analgesic, antipyretic and antispasmodic drug.1-4
Metagelan® is used for the short-term treatment of acute severe pain after injury or operation, cramp-like abdominal pain (colic), tumour pain, other acute or chronic severe pain when other treatment options are not indicated as well as high fever that does not respond to other measures.1-4
Metagelan® tablets and drops are lactose-free.2-3
Film-coated tablets & tablets:
Metagelan® film-coated tablets and tablets are used in adolescents 15 years and older as well as adults.1,2
Drops & injection solution:
Metagelan® injection solution may be used in all age groups from 3 months of age and a weight of at least 5 kg. The drops may also be used in children weighing 9 kg or greater and 12 kg or greater.3,4
