Nicolan^®

Nicolan^® contains the active substance nicorandil.

Nicorandil belongs to a group of medicines called “potassium channel activators”. It works by increasing blood flow through the blood vessels in the heart, thus improving the blood and oxygen supply to the heart muscle and reducing its workload.

Nicolan^® is used in combination with pharmacotherapeutic vasodilators to treat chronic stable angina and to reduce the risk of acute coronary syndrome in patients with chronic stable angina.
