Ondansan^®

Ondansan^® is a medicine that acts against nausea and vomiting.

Ondansan^® film-coated tablets, orodispersible tablet and ampoules are used in adults

• to treat nausea and vomiting that occur during chemotherapy and radiotherapy,
• and to prevent nausea and vomiting following an operation.

Ondansan^® film-coated tablets, orodispersible tablet and ampoules are used in children of 6 months and older as well as adolescents

• to treat nausea and vomiting that occur during chemotherapy.

No studies have been conducted in children on the use of oral Ondansetron to prevent or treat nausea and vomiting following an operation. In such cases it is recommended to administer the medicine intravenously.

Ondansan^® ampoules are used in children of 1 month and older as well as adolescents

• to prevent nausea and vomiting following an operation.
