Ramlolan^®

Ramlolan^® contains two active ingredients: Ramipril and amlodipine.

Ramipril belongs to a drug class called ACE inhibitors (angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors), while amlodipine belongs to a drug class called calcium channel blockers.

Ramipril works by

• reducing your body’s own production of substances that can cause your blood pressure to rise.
• relaxing and expanding your blood vessels.
• making it easier for your heart to pump blood through your body.

Amlodipine works by

• relaxing and expanding your blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through them.

Ramlolan^® is used in adults for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients whose blood pressure is already adequately controlled by the simultaneous use of amlodipine and ramipril in the same dosage as Ramlolan^®, but as separate medicines.
