Rasigerolan^®

Rasigerolan^® contains the active substance rasagiline.

Rasigerolan^® is given to adults for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. It can be used either with or without levodopa (another medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease).

In Parkinson’s disease, there is a loss of cells that produce dopamine in the brain. Dopamine is a chemical found in the brain that is involved in regulating controlled movements. Rasigerolan^® helps to both increase and maintain dopamine levels in the brain.

Rasigerolan^® is lactose-free.
