Telmicard^® plus HCT

Telmicard^® plus HCT contains the active substances telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide.

Treatment of essential hypertension in adults.

Both active substances help to control high blood pressure. Telmisartan belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Hydrochlorothiazide is a drug in the group of thiazide diuretics (drugs that promote the excretion of water from the body) and helps to lower blood pressure by increasing the flow of urine.

The fixed dose combination Telmicard^® plus HCT is indicated in adults whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan alone.
