Trigelan® contains the three active substances levodopa, carbidopa and entacapone in one film-coated tablet.
Trigelan® is a medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease.
Parkinson’s is caused by a deficiency of the neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain. Levodopa increases the amount of dopamine and thus reduces the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Carbidopa and entacapone improve the antiparkinsonian effects of levodopa.
