Rasigerolan obsahuje liečivo rasagilín.
Rasigerolan sa predpisuje dospelým na liečbu Parkinsonovej choroby. Môže sa používať buď s levodopou alebo bez nej (iný liek používaný na liečbu Parkinsonovej choroby).
Pri Parkinsonovej chorobe dochádza k úbytku buniek, ktoré produkujú dopamín v mozgu. Dopamín je chemická látka nachádzajúca sa v mozgu, ktorá sa podieľa na regulácii kontrolovaných pohybov. Rasigerolan pomáha zvyšovať a udržiavať hladinu dopamínu v mozgu.
Rasigerolan je bez laktózy.
